Cheers North closing – where will local rock bands play next?

Red Deer’s Cheers North is closing next week. This has been a great venue for local artists as well as travelling bands. Where will local independent bands play now? Any ideas or suggestions?

Yes people, it is official, Cheers North will be closing next week. We are so sorry to all the musicians that we couldn’t keep er’ alive. We tried our best and wish you all an amazing journey with your talents.

We are having a goodbye to Cheers party on Saturday July 24, please come out, we’d love to have you. Vairious bands will be playing, such as Oldbury, and it’s happy hour all night. Thank you SO much for playing here, and we hope to see you somewhere, sometime, someplace!

3 day out door music Festival featuring upto 25 of Alberta’s Top Indie bands. Camping separate but within walking distance, format a bit different then we have seen in the past but lets show Lacombe Days we are serious about our music and you can expect a blow out event next year for our 10th year anniversary.
